Attention NYC-area Brigade members and other like-minded folk: Art-pop independent musician Rachael Sage is shooting a video for her song "Vertigo" at The Slipper Room on the Lower East Side of Manhattan this coming Tuesday and Wednesday, May 21-22. (You can listen to the song in the player at http://www.rachaelsage.com, or on her MySpace: http://myspace.com/rachaelsage.) Like the Dresden Dolls, Rachael often performs in a duo with just herself on piano (the same kind as Amanda plays, come to think of it :) and accompanied by drums. :) For the video we are looking for 12-15 Victorian/Vaudeville performer extras of this ilk to join us on the morning of May 20th: - Clowns - Mimes - Puppeteers - Ventriloquists - Burlesque Performers - Circus / Carnival / Freakshow -types - a group of any of the above .... Think Moulin Rouge) The shoot will be: Call time 9:30 AM (all extras should arrive wardrobe and makeup-ready) Shoot with Rachael 10 Am - 12 noon * We can't pay, but we will feed you breakfast and you'll have a good time and get to be on a video that will get airplay in the US, UK and Europe (Rachael's last video was featured on LOGO and HBO, and a team in the UK is waiting to promote this one over there as well)!
